AN ADDED FEATHER INTO THE CROWN!
The much awaited inauguration of SHCS INDOOR SPORTS STADIUM was held on 6th May with the presence of many eminent personalities.
The function began with a graceful prayer dance followed by lighting of lamp by all the invited dignitaries and representatives of staff and students.
Rev. Fr. Varghese CST, Manager of the school whole heartedly welcomed all the dignitaries on the dias and expressed his immense pleasure for their presence in the programme.
Rev. Fr. Saju Augustine, Provincial Superior, inaugurated the Indoor Sports Stadium by ribbon cutting which was followed by a solemn yet sanctimonious blessing Ceremony by the Chief Guest of the programme, Rev. Fr. Jojo Varakukalayil, the Superior General of the CST Congregation.
Dr. Sher Singh, International Judo Referee, the Guest of Honour
congratulated the school management for having constructed a well furnished indoor stadium which is at par with the international level standards.
Rev. Fr. Joby Palankara, the Education Secretary extended his warm wishes to all and sundry who had worked tirelessly to bring forth the dream into a reality.
Rev. Fr. Varghese, the manager felicitated all the dignitaries by draping shawls.
The Guest of Honour was lauded by presenting a memento by Rev. Fr. Manager.
Dances in between the programme added more colours and charm to the event.
The inaugural ceremony came to an end by the vote of thanks by the Principal Rev. Sr. Phincy.
A lot of thinking and brainstorming has gone into designing and conceptualizing the idea of the new indoor stadium. Undoubtedly, SHCS INDOOR SPORTS STADIUM WILL BE A HUB FOR MANY SPORTS DISCIPLINES IN FUTURE. AND IT WOULD HELP MANY YOUNGSTERS AND SPORTS LOVERS TO HORN THEIR SKILLS AND ACHIEVE THEIR DREAMS.
As the dignitaries wished, may this new platform help to produce many players on national and international level.
