The students of Sacred Heart Convent School have once again demonstrated their prowess across multiple sporting disciplines, earning accolades at district, state, and national levels.
Poorn Chand Sharma of Class 7 made an impressive mark in the 68th District RPSC Judo Competition held in Shrikaranpur, securing the Gold Medal in the under-14, 50 kg weight category. His winning streak continued as he bagged the Bronze Medal in the 68th State RPSC Judo Competition in Sikar, followed by a Silver Medal at the CBSE West Zone Judo Championship held in Vadodara, Gujarat, under the same weight category.
Raavi Bishnoi of Class 9 has shown remarkable talent in the field of yoga. She secured 5th rank in the State Yoga Competition organized by WFF on 8th September 2024 in Sri Ganganagar, earning her a place in the National Yoga Championship. On 21-22 September 2024, Raavi shone again, clinching a Silver Medal (Rank 2) in the State Yoga Competition organized by the Yoga Federation of India in Jaipur, further solidifying her position at the national level.
Nehal Charaya showcased her yoga skills by securing the 2nd rank and winning the Silver Medal in the State Yoga Competition organized by WFF on 8th September 2024 in Sri Ganganagar. She has been selected for the National Yoga Championship.
Angel Sharma of Class 8 earned the Bronze Medal (Rank 3) in the District Yoga Championship organized by the Yoga Federation of India, which also earned her a selection for the upcoming State Yoga Competition.
Also, the following students brought laurels to the school by excelling in the 68th District RPSC Judo Competition held at ASM School, Padampur, under the boys’ and girls’ under-17 categories. Competing against some of the best talents in the district.
Nandish Pratap secured a Gold Medal in the 73 kg weight category, demonstrating exceptional technique and strength.
Harshika earned a well-deserved Silver Medal in the 71 kg weight category, proving her mettle on the judo mat.
Navrose bagged a Bronze Medal in the 57 kg weight category with a commendable performance.
Nikhil clinched a Bronze Medal in the 81 kg weight category, showcasing great resilience.
Ishwar added to the school’s success by securing a Bronze Medal in the 52 kg weight category.
Rev. Fr. Manager and Rev. Sr. Principal extended their heartiest appreciation to the winners and their mentors.
The school is immensely proud of these young athletes, who have once again demonstrated the true spirit of sportsmanship and dedication.
