With abundance of respect and admiration, Grand Parents Day was celebrated on 14th December at Sacred Heart Convent School, Ganganagar. The guests were welcomed by the tilak ceremony and bouquet felicitation. The programme solemnised with the lighting of the lamp followed by a prayer dance.
The Chief Guest of the day was Mrs.Jyotsana, ADEO, Sgnr, and the Guest of Honour was Rev. Fr. Saju Joseph, CST. The event was graced by Rev. Fr. John Kudilil CST, The Founder Manager of the school.
Rev. Fr. Joby inspired the audience with his spontaneous and intrinsic words.
Teachers were very happy to see the happiness ushering in the faces of all the grandparents and parents who made the most of this wonderful day with happiness. Rev. Sr. Phincy SABS,
the Principal, thanked all the dignitaries, grandparents and parents for their presence and bona fide support and guidance to children.
With the shrinking size of families, grandparents are often missed the most by children. It is important to sensitize kids about the role of grandparents in one’s life and teach them about respecting and taking care of them in their old age. Sacred Heart Convent School lays emphasis on the emotional bonding of children with their family members and hence this special day was organized to strengthen the unique bond between kids and their grandparents.
Kids, too, were elated to surprise their loved ones with their soulful and enchanting performances.
It was a journey into thriving compassion among the living characters and therefore heart touching scenes were interwoven with a dramatically overwhelming sequences of various programmes by the students.
The entire school participated wholeheartedly towards the success of this grand event. Yet the final triumph was made possible by the relentless efforts of Rev. Sr. Jincy Rose SABS, Principal of Kindergarten.
We salute the hearts and hands of those who worked round the clock behind the curtains to make the wheel rolling until it saw the flag of victory.
